Sam was the 3rd employee hired at Higher State Technology. Sam is now the HST Help Desk Manager and manages 8 techs. Over his time here, Sam has seen the company move locations 3 times and watched the company grow to over 20 employees.
“Working for HST has been a really fun journey – from when we just had a few rented cubicles for the few employees and the phone barely rang, to where we’re at now: a robust team of around 20 individuals where we can’t get the phone to stop buzzing and I have to manage a team of technicians!
The constant that I’ve found is that to be successful here, I have had to push my personal boundaries of comfort to absorb the needs of the business. This has allowed me to find a lot of my potential that I wasn’t aware I had.”
Outside of work, Sam enjoys beach camping and traveling with his fiancée. He is also trained in and teaches Krav Maga because “you never know when your computer will fight back!”
