Windows 7 Support is Ending Soon!
Microsoft recently announced that support for Windows 7 will stop in January of 2020 and we want to let you know what this means and how it will affect your business.
How will this affect my business?
Once Microsoft stops supporting Windows 7 they will no longer monitor bug reports. There will be no new security fixes or official support and the Operating System and all programs running on it will begin to slowly degrade and more quickly become insecure.
This means that our HST techs will not be able to update your operating systems. Your system will be vulnerable to hackers and breaches.
The single biggest problem for machines left on Windows 7 is they eventually WILL be breached. It’s a question of when not if.
What do I need to do?
In order to ensure the environment and its data remains secure, it is imperative that all machines be upgraded to the currently supported version of Windows.
Although the Windows 7 operating system can usually be upgraded to Windows 10, to fully take advantage of the power and security of Windows 10, you must have the appropriate hardware.
Newer computers are specifically designed to run Windows 10. They are significantly faster, more stable, and will last – saving you time and money.
HST can set up the computer so that your transition from what you are used to with Windows 7 to the new view of Windows 10 will be smooth and easy.
What are the next steps?
Let HST support your business through this transition. We will help you plan and decide what options are the best fit for you and your budget.
